Mediation and off-line action
In the fight against smear campaigns, Hington Klarsey’s partners may, with the customer’s agreement, act as a discreet mediator with the main detractors in order to steer media crisis solution negotiations.
This action will have the dual aim of ascertaining the motivation behind the detractor’s actions and their claims; in addition, it aims to reduce the media pressure on the customer in order to promote an amicable resolution.
It is important, where possible, to make detractors aware of the benefits of achieving a negotiated solution to a conflict. Hington Klarsey’s partners are fully au fait with the subtle art of negotiation in periods of crisis. Their discretion and ability to understand the issues and the imperatives of each case constitute a major asset in operating successfully as mediators.
